This is for the 12/13/17 band booster. 750Mhz is the band that travels farthest and is best able to handle obstructions like trees and buildings. Combining this unit with a ZDA Communications 14 dBi Yagi and some LMR-400 cable was the ticket for success. With the dome antenna on the second story, I'm able to cover 10,000 sqft. My target tower is 2.6mi away. This amp worked much better than a name-brand 5-band unit I tried for this purpose. Verizon isn't yet running 5G over 750MHz in our area, but AT&T is, and we get the same speed with either. AT&T in our area uses the FirstNet band (14) which isn't covered by this unit.Can't quite believe what they say, I started out with 1 to 2 bars of signal and after installing everything and using 3 different cell tower apps ( in which all 3 gave a different direction) but I knew where the tower was located, my signal never changed from the 1 to 2 bars, I wouldn't recommend this one and not sure if I could afford the higher priced ones that I would trust them, I returned it back to Amazon over a week ago and still have not received my refund, I sure wouldn't trust them with a higher price one.Great signal boosterBefore the booster, I generally had one bar of verizon LTE. It was enough to text and call, web pages took forever to load, and I had no real streaming capability(1 bar of service that’s barely enough to check Facebook even). After installation and optimizing the external antenna location, the moment I plugged in my internal antenna to the booster，We immediately had 4 bars LTE and are streaming movies from our cell phones. Works great! it was definitely worth it!Do some homework before you install your system. Easy to install. The instructions were easy to read and follow. Antenna mounting and positioning are crucial.1、Make sure your outside antenna and indoor antenna have the most vertical and horizontal separation possible.2、Make sure there are adequate construction materials between the antennas.3、Make sure the outside antenna is pointing away from the indoor antenna.Put the outdoor antenna and indoor antenna at the required installation distance first, and then connect the power adapter last. (Otherwise it may damage the booster)This product exceeded my expectations. If your home signal is not good, it is recommended to use this good product.I'm sure it's a good product- we just couldn't use it. Not enough bars available here for the unit to boost.It does work as advertised but the cables lack any markings as to their ratings or even type of cable. So minus 2 stars for not getting the very basics of an electronic product right.When I bought this, I was under the impression that this booster would boost my 5g signal. I can stand in front of my kitchen window and get 2 bars of stable 5g on my One Plus 8 phone. The antenna for the booster is 30 feet above that window. But does not boost the 5g signal into the house. I get 5 bars of 4g in the house. Where is the 5g?I have a cable company that I get tv, phone and Internet from. All my Internet devices are wireless. I get Wifi on my iPads, tablets, and two desktops. One day one of my desktops lost its hard drive. Both desktops have Vista operating systems. Instead of replacing the hard drive I decided to buy a new desktop and it had Windows 8 installed on it. After getting it going it couldn't get wifi on it. I tried everything. I finally called the cable company and was on hold for 20 minutes and finally got to talk someone. I explained everything works except new desktop. They had me try and few things with no success so they transferred me to networking people and we start the process all over again. No success again. They said my router was bad. I kept saying no because all else works. I gave up. Next day the same thing. They had me do this and this, nothing worked. They did have me hang up so they do a reset on modem and me reset the router.Then I didn't having wireless at all, anywhere. Now I'm really upset. Asked them to please just come out to my home and get it going. They said don't that for home networks. Next day I purchased a new router and wireless adapter. Still no wifi anywhere. Got into shouting match on phone with cable and hung up. Finally I did something right and my wireless came back. Still nothing on my new desktop so load the CD for the new desktop adapter. When I plugged in the adapter it locked PC and would restart, lock up, restart etc till I unplug adapter. Again cable company said change theses settings. What? I finally seen on Amazon an Laptone adapter that's Windows 8 compatible for $12. I purchased. Installed CD, plugged in adapter and immediately it found my router asked for security password. done and Online. That Quick. that Easy. Six days of total frustration over. Thanks Laptone. I'm going to buy two more: one to put in my safety deposit box and one to sell to the cable company.Easy to install and good value for money.Great product and great way to increase signal reception at home.we have put a steel roof in our home as a result we had dropped calls and no signal. To make a call we have to leave the home as the roof was a hindrance. Then, through my friend I got introduced to this cell signal booster, installed and now we have pretty much close to 4 bars and at times 5. I would say it was a snap installation. Finally, need not have to run out of the home to get a phone call especially during winter.
